Talasi Guerra is a writer, artist, and communicator exploring faith, justice, and the the radical ways of Jesus. She is drawn to unsettling questions, silenced truths, and the possibilities that emerge when we learn to see differently. Through words, art, and creative work, she seeks to challenge what diminishes us, make room for what has been overlooked, and pursue a faith that is as honest as it is embodied. Her work is shaped by a deep appreciation for the natural world and a trauma-informed approach to healing that honours the wisdom of the body, the importance of connection, and the ways we encounter the sacred through lived experience.
 

Through her own journey of trauma and healing, Talasi has experienced God's transformative work, shaping her faith and creative practice. She is passionate about creating space for women whose voices have been silenced or diminished by gender discrimination, abuse, and harmful uses of power within the church. As a former Communications Director and current coach with Women Speakers Collective, she supports women in navigating their calling and finding the courage to use their voices.
 

Talasi has been equipping leaders since 2010. She spent nearly a decade on staff at a large church in western Canada, developing leaders, equipping volunteers, fostering meaningful community, and cultivating healthy ministry cultures. Her work spans speaking, writing, art, creative collaboration, coaching, and non-profit leadership. Across these varied pursuits, she is interested in the places where what we profess meets how we live—and in the possibility of a faith that makes us more truthful, more just, and more fully alive.
 

Talasi lives on Canada’s west coast, on the traditional, unceded territories of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), Máthxwi (Matsqui), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) First Nations, where she navigates ministry, motherhood, and memory-making with the people she loves.
